Integrating Global Environmental Priorities into National Policies and programmes (CBII Project) through the Environment and Conservation Division (ECD) conducted a presentation on a full report and findings analysis for the Integrated Island Vulnerability Assessment (IVA) for Nonouti Island that was carried out in 2017. The presentation was delivered by CBII project local consultant- Dr. Iete Ruatu to ECD staff on the 11th of June at ECD boardroom Bikenibeu. This presentation is part of the continuous capacity building and training to ECD staff on data analysis, with a focus on how to tabulate the result and doing analysis using CsPro. The training provides the opportunity for 22 ECD staff attending this presentation to deliberate and discuss the IVA analysis report with guidance and clarification from the local consultant. The outcome of this Nonouti IVA report and result analysis presentation will help to improve the designing of questionnaires related to Island Vulnerable Assessment in the context of environment (ECD) portfolio to be measurable, achievable and realistic to the favourable reporting requirement targeted for future use in IVA survey to be undertaken on other selected outer islands.
